Originally released in 2017 by Dark Descent records and long sold out, "Holókauston" is - for now - the crowning achievement of BESTIA ARCANA, the occultist Black Metal outlet for Naas Alcameth (AKHLYS, AORATOS, NIGHTBRINGER) alongside current and ex-members of NIGHTBRINGER.

Described by Alcameth as both a "heretical black opera forged in adverse esoteric and eschatological tradition" and "a madman's alchemical experiment", this enigmatic, monumental and warped creation is a stark reminder of the labyrinthine depths Alcameth had mined prior to the recent achievements of AKHLYS.

"Holókauston" expands decisively upon the clandestine grandeur of BESTIA ARCANA's 2008 debut, "To Anabainon ek tes Abyssu". Revelling in Alcameth's trademark swarming, ornate controlled chaos and deep engagement with magickal theology, oblique rhythmic contortions propel vocal insanity atop a churning, brutal undertow saturated in dread symphonics and hallucinatory dark ambience.
